General comments
Op geleide van kweek wordt de therapie aangepast. Totale behandelduur is afhankelijk van het klinisch beloop 2 tot 6 weken.
Bij niet IgE-gemedieerde penicilline allergie cefuroxim iv 1500 mg 3dd in plaats van benzylpenicilline of flucloxacilline.
Metronidazol niet langer dan 3 weken geven.
